Proyecto Libertad is a mercy ministry of Youth With A Mission International (YWAM), located in the island community of Bocachica, just off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia and serving the island and river communities of northwestern Colombia.  Proyecto Libertad is operated by volunteer personnel living and working alongside the community, and funded through gifts and donations.

Our desire is to be an expression of God’s love and compassion to the poor and needy. Through the implementation of varied community development projects such as health care and construction, we strive to improve the quality of life for the people of this region by engaging and facilitating them in addressing their physical and spiritual needs in practical ways.
