For many years we worked alongside community members with home construction projects aimed at improving the living conditions of our most needy neighbors.  Our focus was on latrine projects in homes that had no bathrooms and concrete floors for families that that were still living on dirt floors.

The families participated by providing materials such as sand and gravel and by helping with the construction process.  The mission provided project supervision and with team project funds, purchased the additional materials (cement, re-bar, toilet, tools).  Visiting teams worked together with mission staff and family members throughout the construction process.

We provided a basic latrine and/or floor and each family was responsible for their own desired improvements such as tile, fixtures and doors.
