ABOUT US:

Proyecto Libertad was founded in February 1997 as a mercy ministry of Youth With A Mission International (YWAM) with a focus on community development, evangelism and discipleship. We are located in the island community of Bocachica, just off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia. Proyecto Libertad is operated by volunteer personnel living and working alongside the community, and funded through gifts and donations.

VISION:

Our desire is to be an expression of God’s love and compassion to the poor and needy. Over the past 20 years, through the implementation of varied community development projects such as health care and construction, we have strived to help improve the quality of life by engaging and facilitating local residents in addressing their physical and spiritual needs in practical ways.
